After announcing their engagement back in January, Katy Perry and Russell Brand have looked every inch the sickeningly loved-up couple.

But it's not Katy that's getting over-excited at the prospect of a wedding...‘He's a total bridezilla,' Katy said of her funny-man fiancé at the Kids' Choice Awards over the weekend. ‘He's like a freak.'

‘He's always buying bride magazines,' she told MTV. ‘Every time we go out for breakfast he's like ‘Can we just stop and get a bride magazine?''

Despite having just been gunged on-stage during the awards ceremony, the starlet was more than happy to chat marriage and music.

‘I have to plan my record first and then I'm going to get my wedding,' she explained. ‘But I'm really excited about that too!'The pair got engaged while on holiday in India.

Katy Perry has said that her fiancée Russell Brand is getting very excited about their forthcoming nuptials. Asked about the wedding by MTV News US she revealed all about the British comedian. "He's a total bridezilla,” she said. “He's like a freak, man. You should see  he's always, like, buying bride magazines.

Every time we go out for breakfast he's like, 'Can we just stop and get a bride magazine?’” Of her busy schedule Perry explained: “Well, I have to plan my new album, first and then I'm going to get to my wedding, But I'm really excited about that, too.”

That album will feature a wide range of collaborators including Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo and producers Dr. Luke and Max Martin. The I Kissed A Girl singer also hinted that she’s worked with a big rapper. She said:

“There might be some really cool guest appearances by some cool rappers from the West Coast, I mean, you'll just have to see, since I'm a California girl, you know. Our guess is she’s recording with Snoop Dogg, who loves to bag a guest appearance on other star’s records!

Joining the long list of celebrity presenters, Ms Perry is set to hand out one of those infamous orange blimps. Other presenters include, Steve Carell, Tina Fey, Miranda Cosgrove, Chris Rock, Shaun White, Jonah Hill, Keke Palmer, Queen Latifah, Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith while Justin Bieber and Rihanna will be performing.

The I Kissed A Girl singer went up to the podium with actor Jonah Hill to present the award for Favourite Movie Actress.But as she walked over to a stand to open the box to announce Miley Cyrus as the winner, it exploded in her face, covering her from head to toe in network's signature bright green gunge.

Justin Bieber didn't get the slime treatment at the 23rd Annual Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday, March 27, but he walked away with something worth to smile about. Sometime during the Nickelodeon's annual awards show, the teen idol got a smooch from Katy Perry and had the moment captured on camera.

It was Katy herself who shared the picture of the moment with fans. The "Hot N Cold" actress, who got covered in green slime when announcing the winner of the Favorite Movie Actress award, posted the photo through her Twitter page on Sunday, March 28. In companion of the pic, the fiancee of comedian Russell Brand wrote, "Told you I would tap that. Yummy."
